THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS
"THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS"
Silently, behind the scenes, things get done around St. John's by a core group of volunteers giving of their time and talents. Things like our doors getting anew coat of varnish; the trash being picked up inside out; edging and trimming of the lawn; flowers and getting watered and weeded; the roof repaired; there's alway coffee supplies at bible study and there's always cookies, candy and juice after; funeral meals are prepared, served and area of the occasion cleaned up spick and span; the food pantry is stocked; the church gets clean from choir loft to the basement; a group puts the newsletter put together each month; the banner in the church are changed regularly by two of our members; and You will notice that we now banners celebrating the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation which have been made by Kim Merolia. There are other seemingly meaningless tasks that have probably forgotten to be mentioned here and for that I apologize, however each and every volunteer act need to be recognized for it is ...an act of faith and and that we live to serve! Thank You to each and every silent volunteer that never asks for recognition.
We Appreciate You!
