In Memoriam
HANS D. FUCHS:
By Martha Oliver
In loving memory of our family’s dear friend in Christ, Hans Fuchs, who served our Lord with gladness, loved his family and on both counts, not just with words but also with actions. Many years ago it deeply touched my heart that Hans and his daughter, Heather, served together at Saturday evening Worship. Currently and the past several years has served with his son, Hansi. Hans knew the importance of welcoming the youth of our congregation to serve our Lord in Worship, to always sincerely welcome visitors.
When Hans taught me something in regards to serving in the Church he always gently explained how and why we did things. I will always remember and thank God that Hans invited my grandchildren to serve alongside me at Worship.
Hans tirelessly served as Head of the Elders, visited the sick & housebound, with Pastor Zeile and for more years then I can count was the head of decorating the church for Christmas. Hans also took over the Meal in the upper room. His kind and patient manner encouraged me to serve together with Hans and his family.
"He blessed our congregation in so many ways."
Hans will be greatly missed by his family, friends in Christ and all who knew him. It has been a great blessing to serve with of him and to have Hans and his family as friends in Christ. He will be greatly missed and remembered with love always.
May the Lord always bless, comfort & keep Diana, Hansi, & Charlie,
Heather & family, Heidi & family in His Care!
